Default any experienced toast writers? Help!

Help! We are going to a Valentines dinner and dance tonight, held by our local board of trade. It is traditional before dinner for a man to toast the women, and vice versa..
I've just been told by my husband that he has to do the man's toast, and it is expected for me to return his.. Typically, they run about 1.5/2 minutes long..

I have no clue what to do! And I'm not the best at public speaking.

Any creative and inspired posters out there, who can help me draft a toast to the gentlemen?

You could maybe try a twist on the "behind every great man" theme, and talk about how your husband supports you and broaden that to how men in general support women (either as husbands, significant others, coworkers, or friends) and how grateful you are to have them around.

Hope that's in some way helpful. I think humor is generally considered a big part of any good toast. Maybe you have a funny anecdote you could share?Good luck and have fun with it!
Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow.
