I don't know if any of you have seen this horse jumping but you should watch the videos on YouTube. I can't post from my phone. This horse was phenomenal. He was only 8 when winning GP's and being a huge part of 2 Nations Cup winning teams including Dublin. Ireland had a jumping super star in the making. His rider Clem produced him from a 3yo. I don't know too many riders that do that anymore. He walked past me at a show one time and he was amazing. Such a presence. His horse family I'm sure is devastated but he also left a huge hole for his Irish fans. He made a Nation cry and fly last year in the Nation's Cup last summer in Dublin. I'm not Irish, I just live here, but wow was that some feeling watching him go around a course seasoned horse were having issues with.

So it really was more than losing a well bred beautiful jumping stallion. Irish jumping lost a horse that was so dear to everyone. He was Ireland's horse and the hope for a bright future. Clem McMahon is one of the good guys in jumping. He produces many and runs a super yard. I'm so sorry for him and all Pacino's connections. A real horse of a lifetime.

    Godspeed Pacino.

Sorry about that Lucy. Thanks so much for putting those up there. I'd just like people to see him in action.

The Dublin one brought tears to my eyes watching it live. 2 double clears on the day for this big brave horse.

Wow, what a horse! What a sad loss - he was so young. Many condolences to his people.

Thanks Lucy, for posting the links.
If you want to have an idea for the horse conformation, don't look at the Dublin's video, because the width to height ratio is not correct, the Louth County Show has the right ratio.
