LOL! I can't stop giggling at that picture! And he still looks so mad! Like "THERE!! Put another one on me, I DARE YOU!!"

Wow, that is the worst blanket I have ever seen, was he attacked by lions, bears and a shark??
I want a signature but I have nothing original to say except: "STHU and RIDE!!!

How about this sweet, halter broke yearling TB colt, that just had his first longing lesson and bath.
I was walking and grazing him to dry him off, had to go for a quick bathroom break, so put him in a run for a minute and that is what I came back to:

For some reason, I can't view the picture. Oh well.

Years ago I had three geldings turned out together. I came out to bring them in one evening and found my older horse wearing . . . wait for it . . . just a surcingle. The rest of the blanket was gone! He was pacing back and forth by the gate which he never did normally. He was really mad. I am not sure how the younger two geldings accomplished such a feat but the blanket was in pieces scattered all over the field.

I started buying better blankets after that!

I had a horse do something pretty darn close to this about four years ago...blanket was hanging in shreds around her neck....pieces of it scattered all over the field....she was pretty proud of herself. Beautiful neon pink blanket on a black horse, too....:/ thankfully that was the first and last blanket she's destroyed.
