Does anyone else have the problem of earbuds not staying in your ear? I had to stop my lesson three times today to put my earbud back in. I've tried every earbud on the market and none of them stay in place. Does anyone have any recommendations?

The buds are expensive, but worth every penny.

Put a elastic headband over them, or get the one which goes over the ear (like glasses) from eartec.

These absolutely will not fall out, will not shift and one can hear ambient sounds while wearing them too. The hook that goes behind the ear is flexible and can be molded to the size and shape of the ear. The shape of the bud is not round. It is narrow and reaches into the ear. I can't keep those round ones in my right ear at all. These are well worth the price.

If you have oddly shaped ears, many of the ones with hooks won't work, because the hooks are rigid. I just got these, and they're awesome.

I have a hard time getting the standard iPod type round buds to fit in my ears too. The bowl of my ear is shallow and they pop out. I tried the behind the ear type, but found they got tangled in my hair and got in way of my sunglasses and helmet.

I got a set of Etymotic Research MC5 noise isolating earphones with some comfortable soft molded inserts custom made at an audiologist's office. They were a big investment at over $200, but fit like a dream and the sound quality was phenomenal!

When I lost them (long story) I picked up some "Skullcandy Ink'd" insert type earphones for $15 at a drugstore. They come with 3 sizes of silicone earbud sleeves. The smallest size is reasonably comfortable and they stay in my tiny ears just fine. Of course, the sound quality is not as good as the high end custom set. I am kind of rough with them, so I need to replace them about every 6 months. Otherwise, they provide satisfactory fit and security for the money and may be worth a try.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I tried out these today and they worked great: Philips Adjustable Earclip Headphones. $11. I use only one, and tuck the other one in my shirt. And at that price I don't have to worry if I lose them.

glue them in your ears.

Seriously though, they make latex glue that's made for facial stuff, I've used it for glueing elf ears on. Just dont' use a lot. It peels right off later on, but keeps things very secure.
