Anyone gotten theirs yet?

I took my May 2012 colt to an inspection in October (had sent his hair samples in ahead of time). He was branded and all paperwork was deemed in order but still no registration papers.

I emailed the AHS office in mid January but never got a reply...

I have not received mine yet. The USEF recordings seem to have slowed the process over the years since that feature was added. I am sure they will be coming soon.

Hugh is working on getting the registration papers out now. The Board and all the AHS committees have been instructed to "Leave the office alone" until this important task is done!

I called the AHS Office yesterday regarding the registration papers. I was told they are feverishly working on getting them out. I would expect the papers will be sent out very soon.

got a USEF # and his lifetime registration card, no AHS information. hope they get it to me soon! I did, however, get a placard for my newly Elite Mare...I wonder how they judge which task is more important...

It's crazy. Our inspection was last July. I was told several times by AHS they had to wait for the mare inspections before they could process anything else. I don't understand that reasoning but it is the explanation they provided me. Ours has already been sold with the new owner patiently waiting for the registration!

I received mine about a week ago and just received the USEF card.

Most have been sent and some are ready, just waiting for the USEF number and will be sent as soon as we have it.The AHS got a new computer system last year but while that was being installed it was not completely functional and a few things took time to fix by the installers/programmers while the office got busy the end of the year and got a bit behind, now that they are focusing on getting the papers out the USEF is busy so it is a combination of things. The nice thing is that the improved system will make this year and years to come better.

Thanks for the info, Edgar!! I figured Hugh and Sandy were up to their eyeballs in paperwork, so I didn't want to bug them over it...I received my newly inspected mare's papers a while back and was hoping my foal's papers weren't lost in the mail. Good to know they're still being processed, I'll keep an eye out for them in the mail.
