Default Schooling/Unrecognized Events and Combined Tests in Northern VA/ MD

I know we have which is a great venue and close to where I live.

I am looking for lots of opportunities for inexpensive, positive outings for young horses. I've got three (!) who need experience and rather than enter a bunch of BN/N, I would so much rather find more relaxed and affordable outings.

I don't mind traveling a bit as I do have people I can stay with in pretty much all areas of MD.

    Ann -
Would you be open to Jumper Shows too? I've enjoyed taking youngsters to those over the winter to get them jumping away from home - and they're usually pretty cheap (3 rounds for $40 or so...). I've been putting together a list of stuff to get my youngster out before the season starts...happy to PM it to you

Foxchase in Middleburg will be running some CTs. There's also a CDCTA CT at Morven on March 16th. Loch Moy usually has some stuff going on in the spring, along with all their unrecocgnized HTs.

That's everything I can think of immediately off the top of my head.

Check out they usually have an extensive list for Maryland. There are a lot up this way (around Fair Hill). Waredaca has a couple and so does Full Moon in Finksburg. There is also a series of hunter paces in Maryland that make for fun schooling outings.

The ODH pony club does a series of schooling shows. The 2013 dates aren't up yet but they will be here:

Super laid back. You do dressage and then the stadium and cross country are combined. Nice inviting jumps, great for youngsters.
