    Default Northern NJ Shows

Can anyone recommend any good HJ schooling shows in the Northern NJ area?

Looking for a good beginner level schooling show, have quiet a few riders needing cross rails divisions and most of our horses this will be their first year showing over fences so some easy 2ft- 2'6" stuff.

depending on where in NJ you are, some shows in the WHVPHA might be great for you, all have nice management, easy courses and good competition

Palermo runs nice shows year round. Duncraven is more central Jersey but they also have a nice schooling series in the winter. Spring thru fall there are shows at The Ridge in Asbury, NJ that are also nice.

On Course Riding Academy holds shows almost monthly. www.oncourseriding.com They also do the WHVPHA points at the next 2 shows, Feb and March 23rd. Great footing nice inviting rings and jumps.
Check it out! They are in Lafayette, NJ right near the Sussex Fairgrounds

I know it isn't exactly Northern NJ, but doesn't Briarwood do some schooling shows?
