Wait, goth and moth aren't said the same way? Some of you are picking goth and some moth but they are the same to me.

Yes. I get accused of "reading them Horse Chronicles again" all too often.
Generally I read COTH in the "both" pronunciation; but sometimes my mind plays tricks on me and wants to spell it out, but too lazy, and it ends up "Co-T-H."

COTH/BOTH These, are two, and since mine are "both", your third is unnecessary.

Stupid? Not at all. Be proud.
You came in here with only a handful of posts to your name, yet you -- yes, YOU -- found a way to put words to the existential question that we've all been struggling with for over a decade: what is COTH?

Exactly!
I'm aghasted that people think differently.
(I keep going through sounds in my head. Of is a the o of goth, not the o of both and therefore the obviously correct pronunciation is CoTH like goth. This obvious pronunciation does not, however, stop me from not wanting to let my true geek shine through when talking acquaintances...so it simply becomes "I've heard before that..." and it only comes out that I "heard" on a "well, an online bulletin board for horse enthusiasts" if pressed...and COTH if I can't escape)

I hesitantly describe COTH as this "horse oriented online place" that I participate in and enjoy. Mumble mumble..
Thankfully I do not have to explain to many people , horsey friends get it, the people to whom I do explain, are non-horsey friends (or family located far from me) and they do enjoy the "Best Of Coth" (as I find it).
Good God Man! Agahsted is not a word, it is not a word in any language.

You must be new here.
