Crud. I remember this enough to laugh, but can't remember the thread that spawned that. Where is it?

It took me forever to figure out what DD is, and one day while sitting in my living room I shouted, "OH! DEAR DAUGHTER!... or is it dumb daughter?" and my parents were obviously confused.

In an A to spare contest I would win. Sorry. It is what it is.
I rhyme it with "both" too.

That's funny that we all "pronounce" it differently. I say to myself, COTH sounding more like GOTHic. Too funny. Hmm..may have just created my own new adjective, COTHIC.

On the few occasions I've referred to the forums aloud, I just say to the other person, "The Chronicle of the Horse forums."
I actually say Chronicle of the Horse in my head when I see COTH.
I am so going to have to go with some of the pronunciations you guys use.

I don't remember exactly, but I'd think MP knows, since I believe she was the one who was responsible for the whole "Yes, I often ask myself..." Unless it was Hoopoe. So long ago.

I'm a Gothic cother, much better than a C-oh-th sl-oh-th. Although I could be a Gothic coth sloth - words with multiple prononciations are so confusing!

I rhyme Coth with goth. Both sounds weird to me, like it'd be spelled coath, not coth.

You could always ask like my boyfriend does... "Are you listening? No? You MUST be on Horsey Chronicle."
I now have to refer to all horse-related forums as "Horsey Chronicle."
