What is COTH?
I keep hearing about COTH on these Fourms. What is it and where can I find it?

Pro Tip: Look at the title splayed across every single page of this website and see if you can figure it out yourself. Or for that matter look at the URL.

Maybe the question is meant in a very deep, existential way. As in, "Have you found your COTH?" Is the COTH always just ahead of the headlights, forever disappearing around the next bend, driving down Route 29? Or is it {dramatic pause} found in the heart of each and every one of us?

I might as well just stop reading the interwebz for the night.
I'm not going to be any more amused than I am right now.
Martha, it was before your time, but one of the biggest existential philosophies ever spawned on this BB is "Why is the fun?".

Chronicle Of The Horse... both a magazine that you can subscribe to and the entity that runs these forums and the online magazine

Reminds me of the time the neighbor girl couldn't close a stall door (had some shavings and hay bits caught up down in the channel of the track where it closes). Thinking that I would help her learn how to think and solve problems for herself I told her to look all. the. way. a.r.o.u.n.d. the door to find the answer. Well she looked up in the air and said nope and kept trying to slam the door. I had to show her, then she went yewww when I bent down and picked it out with my fingers.

Well, serious question here, how do you say COTH to yourself? I think/say it to myself as though the acronym is a word, rhyming with "moth." Do you say/think "COTH" or "C-O-T-H" the letters?
On the few occasions I've referred to the forums aloud, I just say to the other person, "The Chronicle of the Horse forums."

Ahh the existential pondering of the higher being which is COTH. Is it human? Is it a god? Is it a magazine? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? The world may never know.

Also same poster spamming about working with a certain, apparently well-known instructor. I cannot think of a better way to prevent that from happening, than publicly posting ON COTH questions about that trainer, and how they are to work for, and this and that and the other.
