    out west

I ordered the Equisure and some yeast. Both are supposed to help with hind gut issues. And none of it can hurt if he doesn't have hind gut issues. (just my wallet. ;()

I finally talked to vet, he said since he is 1200 pounds do 24 150mg pills every 8 hours.

So I will start him on Friday.

Let's hope in a month that I have a happier horse!

We've put together a very specific protocol for hind gut ulcers. I'd be happy to explain it to you if you want to pm me.
Please feel free to go to out Facebook page or web site
    Mid-Atlantic Equine Rehab Center
Succeed is part of the protocol, but the main thing you have to do is make a total switch in the way you are feeding him. It's approx a 3 month commitment.

I'd like to thank the poster who said they feed ranitidine pills whole, never occurred to me to try that, he's eating them great, so much easier than grinding!
