    She's been busy having babies so is very green under saddle, but this mare is fantastic.

    Her excited canter there just doesn't compare to the SUPER uphill canter she has under saddle with great rhythm, and her trot has just gotten larger.... I'm glad I get to see her regularly to remind me what top gaits are lest I get too cocky about improvements with my own horses!
    My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

    Not sure if this link will work, it's only a photo, not a video.

    I am not particularly wild about the ones that throw their head way up in the air and brace in the lower neck while flying around at a big trot. They may have super active hindlegs that reach well underneath themselves, but I wonder how they would be as riding horses. I much prefer the ones that stretch more through the topline and show some break in the poll - i.e., their faces are closer to vertical, as they look like they are moving through their entire bodies instead of just being "leg movers".

    One of my all-time favorite performances to watch. I was heartbroken when I found out she had passed.

    This is a short videoclip of what I consider being my best moving filly of 2012;
    She was 2,5 months at the time of the video and did get a 10 for her trot...
