Default Buying veterinary drugs from outside the U.S.

I know that technically it's illegal to import prescription drugs from foreign countries. Is there any liability for a pharmacist or a dog rescue who publically advocates buying heartworm medications from Australia.

Probably not. Advocating stupid stuff does not make the advocate responsible for stupid people who get hurt following the advice. At least mostly.
