I bought one from Dover at the end of last season - $69 for size 84.
Did not get to use it until this year and was dismayed to find it had no leg straps - just a tail cord.
Two surcingle closures in front and crossed beneath.
No center seam.
Surprisingly it does not shift.
I have watched my Big Guy roll repeatedly, get up, shake off and the blanket is still in place.
He's also lay flat out to sleep - evidenced by a belly & maneful of shavings - and still the blanket is in place.
This year's Dover sale catalog shows it at the same price.
600D, 200gm fill - IMO a great deal for a midweight blanket.

Ah, welcome to the horseware club. Amigo, Rhino, and Rambo have AWESOME fit, no shifting, no rubbing. It's the only line my QH can wear without grabbing the front of his blanket constantly.
If only my geldings didn't like to beat the crap outta each other I would totally take advantage of that deal!
Do the Amigos work on horses with really big shoulders? Or do they rub? And do they tend to run small or large? Thanks!
I guess it depends on how a horse is conformed. I have several Amigos, both light turnout, medium turnout, and stable blanket. In general, I like the product and the price is right. However, YES, they do rub my horse in the shoulders and wither area. My horse has very broad shoulders and low withers. Size wise, I'd say they run true. However, when an 81 is just a bit too small and and 84 is too large, that is a problem.
