I swore I would not watch it this year when I found who the judges were. Heck, I'd never heard of Nicki Minaj.

And yet, I am watching it, and have it on series link to record.

I do miss Simon. I wasn't going to watch this year but came across it recently and started watching once again. I knew nothing much about Keith Urban but find he's an intelligent and funny guy; a nice addition to the team. I try to ignore Nicki

Same here, and I've been an AI watcher since 2nd season when I discovered it. I'm done with it now as I simply cannot tolerate Minaj.

I don't watch it on TV - I wait for episides to get posted on YouTube and fast forward through all the chatty crap. I only want to listen to the auditions.

But it's getting a little tiring. The singers are all starting to sound the same with a few exceptions.

I find the judges REALLY boring and the bickering between Nicki and Mariah annoying. I'm surprised at how boring and uptight Mariah is. Nicki's not as bad as I was expecting and Keith is surprisingly really good. It would have been better with just Keith and Randy as judges.

I don't miss Simon or Paula at all. Too bad JLO left the show. She was really good.

She was just bizarre! The least she could have done was warn them she'd be screaming Adele...

I have never been a Nicki fan but I think she does a good job on the show - seems to know what will be successful in the contest.

I love Keith's sense of humor with the judges, but he is surprisingly inarticulate with the contestants.

Mariah just sits there for the most part. She clearly likes auditioners who are firm in their identities, but I find that certainty can hurt the contestant as they go through the mandatory song genres.

Randy is flat out mean this year!

I watch via my DVR so I can be generous with the fast forward button.

Sigh, why am I watching? I did a wiki read on Nicki. Pretty much she is was a nobody until this show. Mariah is so pretty, and calm, so is Keith.

Nicki and her hair and clothes, now THAT is worth watching. Her get-ups are hilarious. She seems sweet though. Can she even sing?

Not sure how long I will watch, but it is a bit interesting this time. Yes, miss Simon.
