Default Refrigerators LG or GE or anther recommendation

We're looking at refrigerators. We're thinking of an LG French Door design with a small ice maker/dispenser and water dispenser. The ice and water thing is not critical. Our space is only 33 inches wide which does have limitations.
Any opinions of LG? They have a similar one that is GE. Any opinion on GE?

I personally went with Kenmore--they had a nice narrow option (single door reversible, which was important as I have space limitations) and I've always had excellent customer service, replacement, removal, and repair from Sears. It's an Energy Star model and doesn't seem to suck up much electricity, and the freezer stays frozen!

I haven't (knock on wood) had to purchase one yet, but my condo has separate built-in under counter fridge and freezer that are Sub-Zeros. I will admit that when I bought the place, I thought they were nice but really just insanely pricey and an unnecessary extravagance. But, I recently had a problem with the freezer (that was not a flaw in the freezer, but a plumber had shoved it back under the counter with the water line trapped) - anyway, their completely and totally incredible customer service when I called them convinced me that they are worth every penny.

Thanks, all. Our (stainless) induction stove is Kenmore. Our sears went out of business and we got it for 60 percent or more off - but that means Sears is pretty far away now. Still, worth going and looking. We don't have either a KMart or Sears. Thanks for the suggestion.

None of the stores we went to had a Maytag. We'll look at that. I've had Maytag washing machines. We did eliminate the Frigidaire that we saw.

    Thanks.

I have the stainless, french door GE with ice/water on door. It's about 4 yrs old, and has been trouble free.

We have an LG fridge. It has been pretty good to us so far. The only complaint is that sometimes ice gets stuck in the "holding" area and won't come down the dispenser. It's a quick fix, but it's still kind of annoying sometimes.

Sub-Zero, but not sure they make one that narrow. As was said above, great customer service.

We've had our LG since 2005, and moved it to three different states, and it still works great. The ice maker had to be replaced once, but otherwise we love it. (Warranty covered the ice maker, it was defective).

Bought a Samsung French door in September (Great Labor Day sale at Lowes)
and love it. Didn't get nor want the ice on the door feature. It's in the
bottom freezer and just as handy. Icemaker works like a champ! Had LED
lightning. For the first few months, I'd go buy and just open the doors and
look, and smile. Hated the top freezer GE we replaced it with. Someone from
Craigslist was nice enough to give us $150 for it and it's now going to live at a deer camp. The guys said the one was avocado green so am sure it was time for a newer one.

Thanks for the great information. I don't think we'll last to a big sale Suddenly ours is almost non-functioning. We have an additional freezer, but have fired up the horse trailer refrigerator for the emergency - lol. The place where we saw the LG has its own 10-year warranty for purchase.
We'll add Samsung to the list, and Frigidaire is off.

I will second the Samsung. We bought the French door, snack drawer with water and ice on the door (2 children who love that feature). I LOVE LOVE LOVE my fridge!!
