Yes, the 2013 Budweiser Super Bowl commercial has been circulating on FB for a few days now. It gets to the heart of why we do this, doesn't it?

My husband has been laughing at me because I get all weepy at that commercial. It reminds me of my first preemie foal. Still today every time she takes off running I start balling. Im a sucker and know it!!!

It made me cry my eyes out. I think it is at the heart of why we do what we do - love.
    But I know I am a soft-hearted (soft-headed?) breeder.

(damn it, I am crying again, and I have to go out and feed and my eyelashes will freeze!)

Yes, it is the LOVE that we feel for our horses, that makes us love this commercial, and shed tears.

When I saw that bay foal with the white face, it pulled me back to 2006, when Daz was born: http://www.herselffarm.com/images/ca...R1-024-10A.jpg

Still the top "Princess" in the barn, she is so very special to me.

the non-horsey people in my office are telling me about the commercial with tears in their eyes, so you don't have to be a horseperson to get it. I simply reply, "yes, I get that love everyday."
