Has she been riding/doing the big classes Mika much this season (I guess as many as there have been yet this season)? Or her other ride? They looked a bit disjointed at times in that round. Not quite as put together as she normally looks

She had 1 fault over a course that 99 percent of people haven't gone clean over. If that's disjointed, I wish I could ride that well. Mika's pretty sensitive compared to her other rides.

tha ridge: I completely agree! Just didn't look like her normal ride where ice cubes wouldn't melt on her forehead, so to speak... Just wondering if that was the first big class of the season for them together.

I believe she's mostly been doing Ligist in the big classes until now. I think she said in an interview that she was bringing out the others this week.

Nice to have a choice of which horse to do in the GP.

I'll say! What's her story? I don't remember seeing her before this winter, but she's been doing really well.

She's from Florida, I think... pretty sure she was on the Zone 4 team at NAYRC when they won. She's a great rider.

I believe Liza rode with Missy Clark in the equitation classes previously and also did junior jumpers with Ormsby Hill. It's her first year out of the juniors.

I think she's from Florida. Are you thinking of Killian McGrath? Maybe?

Thanks for the details. The California (or Florida) thing explains why she's a fresh face to me. Good for her- she's in good company tonight!

Tough course tonight...no audio on the current drag time entertainment but I am thinking that isn't such a bad thing.

Wouldn't it be fun to be in the position of telling your 18yr old student, "now, don't mess up at that fence like McLain Ward just did".

When they lived in Texas full-time, they had two Argentinean brothers training them. Looks like John Roche is helping them now.
