Supposed to help head shakers, I believe, and Cella did seem to have that tendency, even with the net, though perhaps that was a reaction to the Florida bugs?

It has been asked many times and I remember very clearly Mario saying that she did not need it, but it was like her "feel safe" thing. Like a kid who needs to carry his favourite toy or blanket ... She wears it at every competition, not just in Fl. She was wearing it at Spruce or at the Royal in Toronto in November.

Hey anyone have any news on Laura Chapot. Heard she had an accident tonight in the schooling ring and had to go to the ER.
Thanks

Oh, Mario...
I did read an article on the subject of nose nets and head shaking. (trigeminal nerve?) I can't remember, and don't feel like looking for it right now. Apparently nose nets are useful for horses with that presentation.

If you scroll down http://www.nj.com/sports/njsports/in...4/post_41.html you will find this quote:
"The mare wears a distinctive nose net that was part of the original equipment that came with her. "We haven't changed it, it works, so we always ride her in it," Deslauriers said."
