    1) Have you looked through Yard and Groom?
    2) Have you looked through your local Craigslist?
    3) Have you researched and contacted trainers/stables in your area (cold calls)?

Contact Jackie Smith at Stonegate Farm or Sue Hines. Both are ICP insturctors. Sue's info can be found on USEA website under Education, then ICP, then list of ICP instructors. Google Stone Gate Farm for Jackie's info. Both are wonderful teachers. Kara Andrew is somewhat south of there, but she also runs a busy farm. She is also ICP certified.

What exactly are you looking for? Dressage, hunter/jumper, eventing?

Eventing or H/J. I am leaning toward eventing I think.

Jackie Smith is wonderful. And if you decide hunters, I can ask my mom about working students. Good luck.

Another vote for contacting your local ICP instructors, but if you're willing to branch out or look at smaller farms...I know of two in the Columbus area, which unfortunately isn't NE Ohio, but FWIW...

I'm pretty sure this one is still open too.

Is this too far away? Google states it is about 56 miles from Canfield to Chardon. It is a live in position, so you would not have to drive.

Here is a list of all positions currently available in Ohio from Yard and Groom. I am not familiar with Ohio to know if any of these are feasible for you. If your parents would let you travel further once you are out of school, more options are available. I could not remember if you were a junior or a senior this year.
