In The Irons - "Lady Godiva" Photo Shoot of Jockey Chantal Sutherland
Tastefully done, but some CotHers might want to move on to another post.

1,000 career wins, more than $45 million in earnings, the 1st woman EVER to ride the $10 million Dubai World Cup, (the richest pot in Horse Racing!! ). She came in 2nd last in the 2011 Breeders Cup Classic. Impressive!
Video of the photo shoot at this link:

As it was done last year, I'm sure the racing forum folks are aware of it.

Was she always blonde? I vaguely remember her from that documentary series a few years ago, but I don't remember her hair being that color.

I looked at it for the article.
no, seriously, I read this & I love it:
"Jockeys are considered, pound for pound, among the strongest athletes in the world. But if a woman is generally 30 percent weaker than a man, just how strong must Chantal be to compete equally in arguably the most dangerous sport? She’ll tell you the strongest part of her sculpted body is her big toe. Yes, that’s the first point of contact that creates the leverage that controls a horse running at 40 miles per hour. The reins are a mere suggestion."
In the 1980s our young female (blond & pretty, natch) trainer (I might add at the time she was one of the few females) thought the crowd at one of the NE Morgan shows was a bit stuffy, so she did her own Godiva impression thru the aisles. I did not witness and vaguely remember the story. Not sure if she sported a long wig or not.

snap gottagrey, that was my first thought when I saw the pic yesterday.
I love the pic; she has a fab body - it's an athlete's body and she looks a hell of a lot better than most if not all of the long distance runners that I type about in the course of my work.
where am I, what day is it, am I still having a good time?
