    If that is the level of care you offer aand are paid for it then it is not excessive. My two at home and out get a fence line check. If they were in stalls I would do a thorough night check.

    It is not excessive if you are clear that is what the job requires when you hire the person doing it.

    If a person applying finds it to be too much work to put their coat back on and do night check then they need not take the job.
