    Default Stretching shoe boil boot?

My new mare has to wear a shoe boil boot. I ordered one for her and it is impossible to get on and off!

Any suggestions on how to stretch it/loosen it to make it easier to get on and off.

    Strength/weight training!!
They can be very unyielding. I just kept bending mine back and forth (it wasn't on the horse at that point) until it softened a little.

I've been bending it back and forth during the day...by morning it is stiff again!!! Would a fetlock ring work as well?

I used the thick soft neoprene professional choice quick wrap bell boots on my horse. He is barefoot, got the capped elbow/boil from laying on his own hoof, LOVES to nap in the pasture on the hard dirt. The bell boot worked really good for us.
