    Default Charmeur

    Anybody used his frozen semen? If so what results?

    From what I've heard about last year's efforts, the semen is OK and you can get pregnancies from it. I tried without success...

    Gayle,
    While we were among those who had a terrible experience with the semen from Bretton Woods when he was still in Holland, the Charmeur semen that was sent us as a replacement worked for us. We will have a field full of them this year thanks to embryo transfer. We own the mother of Sir Sinclair, the wonderful preferent Krishna, (Flemmingh x Le Mexico x Amor), and she will have 3 foals by Charmeur soon. Our Paddox x Donau mare Vienna is also carrying a Charmeur foal, and she is one of our best producers, so we are very happy about that.
    Frozen semen from Holland is sometimes not for the faint of heart, but sometimes the stars line up, so good luck with it if you decide to go with him.
