So the foal is an orphan (in the commercial), right?
We're spending our money on horses and bourbon. The rest we're just wasting.

If your read the comments under the video, it seems that half the people think that the horse(s) in the video is the same as the baby to be named. Ridiculous. The Daily Mail article wrote it the same way, too.

Seeing the newborn alone with no dam hovering over, being bottle fed, the guy asleep in the stall with the foal...I'd assume orphan. Ask me how I know.

According to 20/20, the baby horse was played by a filly. But only geldings are used in harness.
So there's some additional horse transgendering for y'all to consider when you are done crying.

So glad I'm not the only one who who is a blithering, sentimental slob when it coes to these commercials. I tear up just describing the 9/11 tribute.

boo hoo on you - it's the sentiment of the story - a heart horse if you will. Peter Pan was played by Mary Martin.

Yes, me as well. That's probably why we noticed.

I liked this commercial but the "God Made a Farmer" one stopped me in my tracks and really brought the tears.

My friend told me she cried when she saw it, and I said "Maybe you're pregnant."
I watched it and cried. Maybe we're both pregnant.

I loved the commercial. It made me cry too. I saw the Clydesdales at the barn in NH and it was so cool. I even got to give the Dalmatian a belly rub and a treat!

That was me, I seen it in preview, and I said" it might be set up" but that would be me and my Caine'tears all falling' -anytime that my daughter is out to take care of our 3 she always tells me Caine was not happy-he wouldn't let me groom him/he's not happy/he's disrespectful--my husband said I hope you and Caine go together, cuz I don't think either of you could survive without each other--

Sounds like a lot of non-horse people loves it, too!

AGREED! I was captivated. At the end my DH said "What are they advertising?", so kudos to Ram Tucks for being subtle.
Yup, "God made a Farmer" and the Bud clydesdales were my two favorites.

I thought it was sweet right up until the horse went cantering down the street. That was when my practical side (which has always been dominant over my emotional side) kicked in and said "what idiot let that horse get loose!?". *sigh* Sometimes I wish the emotional side could win.
The Ram commercial was excellent though.

Link to Ram commercial ("God Made A Farmer") for anyone who hasn't seen it yet (it's even more awesome in full screen view):
