Default Petition to Save Pebble Beach Horse Shows

As you may have heard, the equestrian center in beautiful Pebble Beach (California) will no longer be the site of their wonderful horse shows. Pebble Beach Dressage was one of the highlights of the show season, along with many hunter/jumper shows.

The Pebble Beach Company is planning to use the land for a golf driving range and for additional space for their car shows.

Please take a moment to sign the petition...it may help !

Signed. I first went there for the national finals in 1963. It would be sad to use it, but the Concours d'Elegance (rare car show) is a huge money maker, and PB was long ago sold out.

And that's awesome to get lots of signatures, but I'm not sure what the point is? If the horse shows do not make the money that a driving range would make, then no amount of begging or pleading by horse people will change the decision that was made (probably in front of a board, with years of finacial data presented and months of negotiating and planning occurring.)

Now, maybe if 3,000 people all purchase the equivalent of a bucket of balls, there might be enough finacial incentive for them to put on one more year of horse shows.

Sorry to be a downer. It's very sad the the venue is being lost!
