Opinions--Fleeceworks WOOL Show hunter Pad vs Fleeceworks Sheepskin
So I see that fleeceworks is now making a wool pad where instead of the fleece attached to the natural skin it is now wool attached to a poly-acrylic backing. My mare goes in a Mattes Correction Pad for schooling, and I was looking for a correction pad for shows (budget is a consideration).
So does anyone have any experience with this wool pad vs. their full sheepskin? I just want to make sure it is still a quality pad before I purchase.
That looks like a really nice pad. I love the fleeceworks sheep skin pads and ride in them pretty much all the time, so it would be nice to know if this pad is just as good. Please post what you think if you decide to buy it.
~ In the chaos of the showing, remember riding should be fun for all, including our 4-legged kids.
I have one and absolutely love it. They wear like iron and they look great. What you won't be able to use though, is a girth with fleece showing. The colours are way different. The pad is "natural" and the girth fleece is white. I wash mine in the washer with melp and hang it to dry. Usually takes 2 days to dry and they look new forever.
