    Default French saddle trees?

    Hi everyone,
Does anyone know whether French saddle trees are wooden or synthetic?
    Thanks,
    HK

From which company? Each has their own trees, for the most part, and some are synthetic and some are wood.

Devoucoux is wood as far as I know. Some CWDs are synthetic I believe.

I would venture to say that most of the regular CWD trees are wood? I know my CWD is significantly heavier than my Amerigo was.

The 2G, etc don't appear to have wood trees so I didn't want to make a blanket statement.

You are right, the 2G tree is a composite I believe, I think the other CWDs have wood trees.
