    Default Aiken Hunt Week

    My two friends and I are looking forward to the second half of the Aiken Hunt Week put on by Whiskey Roads. We'll drive up on Saturday.
    I frequent the Aiken area, but have never hunted with Whiskey Roads.......
    I'll be incognito on a solid black (other than my signature pintos).....but looking forward to seeing everyone.
    Who else will be there?????

    I have hunted with whiskey road through pony club, they are so welcoming and helpful....I have always have had SUCH a great time!!! Have fun!

    I'm coming! Bringing a crew -- 4 horses and clients!!
    Leaving in the morning!
    Florida -- WR is so fun, but the whole 'feeling' of the week is most unlike Low Country.

    Heading out Sat am.........and bringing Long Johns!!! 30 degrees Sunday am for the hunt is colder than we "Florida Foxhunters" are used to..........brrr. Look forward to seeing you all there!!

    Its lovely and sunny and sandy and filled with food and friends and fun!!
    Too much breeze yesterday at Chime Bell for any scent but still fun to gallop around on sandy soil in the sunshine!

    Sounds lovely! Up here in CT it's cold & windy and the ground is hard as a rock. I'm looking forward to visiting the warm south soon!

    Here it is fetlock deep mud that freezes hard as a rock. Mud/freeze/mud/freeze

    There's no hunting and one of my horses is brewing yet another abscess.

    I have two friends who live in Aiken and are doing hunt week. Between the emails or facebook post I have turned completely green with envy.

    55 degrees and wall to wall sunshine.
    Yummy.
    Hunting behind the Toronto North York tomorrow at a new plantation fixture. Huntsman Anthony Gaylard is masterful. English pack is level, fast and keen. I really look forward to it.
