Sounds like she needs a consult with an internist. Doesnt necessarily need a week of observation. Most "consults" can end with home treatment and a review of bloodwork already done.
I think they would also recommend an abdominal ultrasound.

Exactly what STB said. A friend's dog was just diagnosed and is home and doing great.

My sympathy to your family on the loss of your beloved Boxer. They are such wonderful dogs and become such a part of the family. May she rest well until you see her again.

Just saw this and Im so sorry!! They leave a HUGE hole! Hugs and prayers - can't fix the pain but I can tell you you sure aren't alone! Very, very sorry.
