There are a couple of nice motels over by the airport. There is a Hilton Garden Inn and a Marriott Residence Inn. They are not a bad drive from the horse show.

The best thing to do in Gulfport is eat. Restaurants are fabulous. Bob Bell always has nice exhibitor parties too.

I asked a very similar question last week and was pointed to this (very helpful) thread:

    http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/sh...light=gulfport

I'll be there weeks 2-4, have a pre-green/adult hunter. Will you be there?

We are staying in Biloxi b/c we have points at La Quinta. Hopefully the drive won't be too bad!

asfor things to do, the casinos are nice, you can go fishing, there are a couple cute towns to go shopping in, and you are only an hour from NOLA

Biloxi LQ is 24 minutes according to google maps. Is there something I'm missing?

If you're missing something, I am too (or perhaps Biloxi has relocated since I was there last). It's not far at all.
