Question Bling browbands - Where to buy OTHER than Smartpak?

I'm looking for a good source for a new bling browband. I got one from Smartpak after waiting for months b/c it was on back order. After using it for less than two months, it has already lost two crystals.

I would love to find another one that has crystals that stay in, but would like to shop somewhere other than Smartpak that may have better quality products.

    Thanks!

P.S. I should add that I usually love all things Smartpak and have been a happy customer for years, this is my first experience buying leather from them, however.

Delfina Saddlery uses a channel browband, which sets the crystals inside the bridle and not on top of the leather.

I plan to buy from them when I get some extra moola.

I love the Pink Equine browbands. I have 3--periodot with dark brown leather, red with dark brown leather, and light blue with light blue padding and brown leather.

I love the Pink Equine stuff too (got a teal-padded bridle that is just simply gorgeous, one of the nicest bridles I've seen in a long time) but good lord that site is expensive! Go directly to http://www.pinkequine.com. Even with the moderate exchange rate and the international shipping (which I think cost me maybe $15 US? And got to me in under three weeks) it's still cheaper than that website. Plus they have awesome sales!

    Browbands with Bling!

I got a big ol' gift certificate for Christmas... since they're all custom I just can't decide what I want! Such a difficult problem to have.

Default Thank you all So much!

One more reason why I love COTH so much. I really appreciate the assistance and look forward to shopping for some new bling. This is just for fun on the schooling bridle, so I don't want to spend a lot of money, but it will be fun looking at all the neat options.

Thank you all for taking the time to give me some new suggestions, I really appreciate it!!

you could get a custom one done! They are really easy if you work with leather. My husband has made a ton and we are making "team bling" for our clients this Christmas. Most leather repair shops love this creative kind of job. We don't make them to sell but I may know of a few people that would be up for the task if you can't find anyone near you. I love doing bead work or finding a vintage necklace to build around or a fake tennis bracelet. Check out Ebay or craigslist for jewelry to use. It would be one of a kind! the commercial ones are kind of generic.
Good Luck! If you have one done I want to see it!!!

I have several of them. They're gorgeous and have lasted many years and still look as good as new!

IMO this is the best place for browbands - she will also customize them for you. Prices are quite reasonable, and very good quality. The only problem I have with these browbands is deciding which one(s) to get

I wish I was creative enough to make something on my own. I would love to see what you made for your clients though! What a great idea.

I'm just another vote for Pink Equine (and buying directly from them, if you have an account with their website, your prices are usually cheaper than what you see without an account. Plus they tend to have pretty good sales). I don't have one of their bling browbands, but I did buy one of their padded bridles on sale (and got it for $120 including shipping from the UK. Looks like right now they're going for $120 before shipping, but that's still a good price) and I'm pleased with it.

I love Delfina Saddlery, and I also make my own with channel browbands and swarovski crystal beads. I also make padded leather halters with the swarovski crystals inlaid. So pretty!
