Default Parlanti ready to wear question

I just ordered and received a pair of the Parlanti ready to wear boots for my DD and, wait for it....

they are too tall! Even though they are exactly the size that we tried on. I feel like they will drop but based on my conversation with the sales person (who because the boot we tried were exactly the right height - no room to drop - assured me they would not) I'm not sure. What to do, what to do....

    Any thoughts???

    They are gorgeous, though!

They will drop! Mine did. As they stretch in the calf they drop more over time too. With other boots I got a good inch at least dropped in height once they broke in, but I've found my with Parlantis they have dropped more subtly over time.

Mine really didn't stretch that much - just enough to be perfectly comfortable but still form fitting. Did you leave boot trees in yours? I was cautioned against leaving anything inside them except maybe a little newspaper to hold the shape as the softer leather (which I love) does stretch more easily.

Thank you for the info! Hopefully, they will drop about an inch and not stretch, then they will be perfect! I will let her know not to use boot trees!
