Help me pick colors for my new horse!!!
I purchased my dream horse last night! SQUEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I need to figure out what color saddle pad and shirt colors. I will be showing him in reined cowhorse, and ranch horse versatility. NO BLING please!!!
I have mostly blue because my other guy was a sorrel but my new fella is a bay roan that looks more blue in the spring/summer. http://ajperformancehorses.com/Horses.html
I was thinking a pink shirt or me and a neutral saddle pad for him. Any equine fashionistas out there that can help?

I actually think blue would look nice on him. Or even an emerald green. Whatever you decide, he's very pretty!

Congratulations!
He's very handsome!
Here is a good guide: http://www.hobbyhorseinc.com/dress-f...rs/index.shtml
I think he'd look lovely in jewel tones--deep purple, emerald, blue--but not navy, more of a sapphire or even a deep red if you can find one that isn't too orangey.
A good horseman doesn't have to tell anyone...the horse already knows.
Might be a reason, never an excuse...

Oh! How exciting, he is really cute!
Looking at the hobby horse wheel, I think a deep jewel purple shirt on you, and a black saddle pad on him would look great.

Teal would look really nice too! And purple.
And congrats on your new horse...I can see why he's your dream horse. VERY nice...saw two of his videos from your link, I'd be grinning too!
What color is your tack?
You jump in the saddle,
Hold onto the bridle!
Jump in the line!

Sucker I would have loved it but I have my guy now!! Do have pictures or a link to his sales ad you can pm me? My trainer always has people looking!
Most people think Blue is a blue roan in the spring/summer. However has his coat grows in the bay points stand out. He does not have much blue in him right now LOL!!

Wow he's a looker! I think emerald green (will bring out any reddish tones in his coat) or a dark purple will look great on him. Teal/blue could work but not my favs for him.
Congrats on finally buying your dream horse!
