In my saddle search I've come upon a Schleese JES Elite on a Hennig tree that is in my budget, is the correct size, and looks good. So what is the good, bad and ugly about these saddles? I've been told it may be a good fit for me due to having a narrower twist than some (an issue for me due to my back). I've read a lot of reviews, but wondered if anyone had some personal experience, as this is the most expensive saddle I've ever looked at!
Had one, sold it for a different saddle. Nothing major wrong with it, but the leather on mine was plain (comes in several varieties). Compared to my delicious Antares leather, it did nothing for me. And the fit for me (6' with really long legs) just wasn't ideal.
Sturdy, adjustable, but like most Schleese's, heavy.
