    Default Anyone have Tenerife offspring?

What type of movement did you get and what type of mare did you cross with?

What did he bring to the mix?

I have an Escudo II/Nebelwerfer/Marbod mare that I am thinking to rebreed next year. She could just some height.
The rider casts his heart over the fence,
the horse jumps in pursuit of it.

I've had three. Two were twin embryo's (mare and gelding). Both sold easily at 3 years old. Gorgeous movers. Gelding tall, lofty mover. Mare, smaller but spicier. Bred for jumping but such good movers that they sold as dressage prospects.

The 3rd is a coming two year old. Substantial filly. Nice movement.

    Here are links to vids:

5 year old: Catalina KF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tT1kKJc3Pk

2 year old: Georgia KF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqYJbJpt6So

Can't find video of gelding - Cuervo KF but you can see pics of all on my website www.kimberleefarms.com.

The mare on the twins was an old fashioned type Burggraff/Voltaire. He really refined her. The dam of Georgia also old fashioned (Idocus/Amor). Filly is better mover I think then dam. Filly has more bone then the twins.

This was ours Tenerife x Nairobi

The mare was awarded Ster at the inspection and the filly a 2nd premium 69 PTS, comments on her dam "grows even more beautifull when she moves. Filly was marked down for a straight hind leg.

She has just started competing at novice level with an amateur with very good scores.
