Default THANK YOU Rolex & Longines

Thank you Rolex for continuing to sponsor not only the Kentucky 3 day **** event but many other events throughout the equestrian community in the USA. Your support has been so very generous and I for one truly and deeply appreciate it!

Thank you Longines for stepping forward and offering to sponsor equestrian events world wide. It is with new interest in the equestrian disciplines that they will continue to grow and spread. It is very much appreciated.

Without such generous sponsors our sport would be very hard pressed to survive at the level it has risen. Thank you!

It's very interesting to me how Princess Haya has been able to get Middle Easterners to support FEI sports. The Saudis are sponsoring a Version of the Nations Cup League, and Longines is apparently owned by a Lebanese group. This is good because it shows that horse sport interest is not entirely confined to Western Europe and North America and Australia/New Zealand.

Thank you, Rolex North America for four more years of Rolex being Rolex.

    Dear Rolex, thank you.

I rarely wear a watch and if I do it's something inexpensive simply because jewelry is totally not my thing, but still--THANK YOU. And if I ever have occasion to buy a really nice watch for me or anyone else, a Rolex it shall be.

I'm glad Rolex is staying, but I'm confused about the role that Longines is playing. The article didn't really clarify that for me. Did I miss it somewhere?

The FEI announced early this month that Longines/Swatch had signed a sponsorship agreement with the FEI to become "a top partner", whatever that means, and will become the official Time Keeper for the FEI. They will apparently replace Rolex International as the official sponsors of the World Cup for Jumping, as well as certain other sponsorships that Rolex International had had with the FEI.

There has been no announcement about the effect of this on the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing.

Well, I'm glad I have this to remember it by:

It'll always be Rolex to me (especially when I daydream about one day hearing the roar of the crowd as I go through the Head of the Lake. Not likely to ever happen but I can dream).

Looks like Rolex has a strong supporter in Aachen anyway. Sounds like the organizers made that Scooby-Doo like "hunh?" noise when told that their clocks were redundant.
