Don't feel badly about the welfare check, btw. I don't think it's dramatic. Better safe than sorry. I did that once to my BO. LOL She had gone up to her summer cabin, told me she'd be back on X day and didn't show up. She was in her 80's (I just rented land from her and took care of her dog while she was gone). No phone at the cabin and no one had heard from her. So I did the crazy thing and sent the troopers. Finally got a call "Are you CRAZY? Why did you send the police?!?!" Explained. She said "Oh, I got my days mixed up. I meant NEXT Saturday I'd be home." Alrighty then. Well, at least we knew she was safe.
