Default Free to good home- 2010 Oldenburg Gelding

Free to good home. Lovely very well bred 2010 Oldenburg Gelding, very flashy with 4 white socks, star and snip. He was premium and foal of distinction at his inspection. Seeking a good home that would like a horse for light riding. He will not hold up to a heavy performance career due to a spur on left hind fetlock. Please contact me at nicameo@gmail.com for more info.

Not looking, but as I usually do I'm browsing as I relax for the day.

OP- Have you had a few opinions on the spur? I only ask because we have racehorses with spurs and depending on the severity, they go on to perfectly successful race careers... And I believe sometimes they can be removed.

I second what Doublete said - if you haven't gotten a 2nd opinion on the spur, I would. Lots of them can be shaved down or fully removed - especially in a younger horse like this.

That's what I was thinking, I'm here thinking about what that cost may be, and if I wanted to possibly take it on! I don't have much experience with spurs though!

I assume horse is located in Texas as is OP, found out by going to former posts and looking there where the same question came up in previous inquiry looking for a breeding mare.
