Default Tips on canter on long lines?

I have been working a few horses in long-lines in walk trot and they are all working well and improving and they seem to enjoy it. I'd like to begin some work in canter as well but since I haven't done much of it I'd love to hear any tips I should think about before starting their canter work in them. What should I know?

if your walk and trot work is good, and you can get good longitudinal adjustability, your canter work will be just fine. the biggest finger crosser is the first canter on the lines and hoping they keep it forward but small while you sort out how to keep pace. my guys will canter on the spot and am working pirou on the lines just fine
