Default How to find this horse--at least in theory

So I see an ad for a TB named "Skirt Chaser." I assume that is his JC name. So I look him up on pedigreequery and DROOL!!

    http://www.pedigreequery.com/skirt+chaser

Turns out that is not the horse listed for sale.

So if I was to find said real Skirt Chaser, how would one find him? Looks like he sold at Tattersals as a 2 yr old.

Or how would you find any TB with no record?

Probably best to start your search in GB. He may show up eventing or in some other sport this year since he'll be four, but he very well could have had his name changed.

Also the mare also produced foals in 2010 and 2011 so you may want to check with the stud and see if they have a younger half sibling you'd be interested (2010 filly had a nice pedigree for sport too) or if they could do a custom breed-back for you.
