    Default wrapped girth

What do you think of wrapped girths? I have heard they used to be really popular, are they still?
What do you like about them?

    thank you.

Can you post a link to what you consider a wrapped girth?

All I can think of is a "fuzzy" - i.e. girth cover (fake sheepskin). I have used these when needed but found a clean neoprene girth "cut out" around the armpit area works well for thin skinned horses.

If it works this is a link to a girth on ebay.

I have been looking for one for some time (in brown) for a monoflap saddle. I am curious if anyone can suggest some brands that currently sell them. Thanks!

That looks like a simple tri-fold girth, right? Gee, when I was a kid, that's what everyone had for their forward seat and all-purpose saddles.

I saw a used one on eBay for $60 - but when I searched for more information on the girth I found another used, same price. BUT this time the seller was more honest - they provided 3 pictures and the middle picture showed rusted roller buckles.
(New it's $75 - so why pay only $15 less and get rusted??

So for that price (used) I would NOT buy it, if it rusted for one person it will rust for another. JMO

Not with rusted roller buckles - which mean they are not stainless steel!
