Pony Breeders: Welsh bloodlines known for producing sound-minded, quiet offspring?
Title pretty much sums it up. Its been 7 years since I purchased a pony project, I need a refresher!
I'm asking about current lines. If you were looking for a young pony with a great brain, straightforward and safe personality - Which bloodlines come to mind?
Sure, each pony is an individual, but surely some lines are better known for producing this type?
Feel free to mention any particular sires that come to mind as well.
Thanks!

I had a lovely tb x welsh cross large pony by Shenandoah Gamekeeper. (sp?)
She was bombproof, beautiful, kid safe from the age of 2, and could jump the moon. Has won everything along the way with variety of owners. The breeder loved the stallion after watching him get kicked in the belly by another pony in the hack and just going on about his business as if nothing had happened.

Not a pony breeder but a pony mom. Over the years I have grown to love babies by Farnley Belshazzar, Crossgates Larasan, Loafer's Lodge Spring Ahead, and Blue Rain.

AS a LONG TIME pony breeder (including my mother who started breeding in 1972), I can honestly recommend Farnley Belshazzar, HANDS DOWN.
He's old. Buy anything you can find by him because they are more than likely super child proof and quiet. Talented is a given. This year I will welcome my 9th Farnley Belshazzar (can't wait!).
I have bred a Farnley mare to Crossgates Larasan (the sire of 2010 WCHR Classic Winner One More Time, 2010 USEF Pony Finals Reserve Champion Midnight Hour, and USEF Pony Finals Champion Hilton Hhonors). Resulting filly is dead quite and gorgeous!

Crossgates Larasan ponies seem to have a great mind. I had Hhilton Honors and One More Time with me for a summer (and I know Midnight Hour well) and they both were super quiet, easy ponies.
Blue Who I also love. My large is by him and more like a golden retriever than a pony! No spook at all, super smart. Same with all the others I have come across.
Those are the two that stand out to me.

Halcyon Sir Lancelot (think Daphne Doo, Bracewood Sir Landon, Bracewood Camelot, Bracewood's Galahad, Bracewood Crushworthy, etc). You can see a lot of his get pictured here: http://www.bracewoodfarm.com/PoniesSold.html
as Lance's owner's site doesn't seem to be working.
I'm not a breeder but had the pleasure of working with/training "Lance" babies and they've all been awesome. SUPER brains, very talented, can take a joke, and personable as all get out. Plus, they're gorgeous ponies. Unfortunately Lance suffered a terrible accident a few years ago and was put down. I know there are still some young ponies by him available. If I was really pony sized I'd have one or two.
Edit: Not many of the links work but I did find this:

Farnley Belshazzar is 30 this year. Looks like his early 20s and is PERFECT.
Semen motility was very high last year and he receives excellent care.
