I went to my Triple Crown Dealer yesterday and was told that as of January 24th, 2013 Triple Crown Feeds would no longer be available on the West Coast.
Does anybody know if this information is correct ?

Their dealer locator is not accurate. I've called every single one in Southern Indiana on their list, and none of them stock it. Some did say they could order it. So I drive 40ish minutes to a Southern States in KY.

Hopefully you guys in CA can still get it.

I just emailed the rep I have been talking with. I voiced my concern, and I certainly hope this is just a rumor. Otherwise, my area is going to be SERIOUSLY lacking in high-quality feed.

ETA - Just checked their website, and under Events they are still listed at being our here for Galway in March. Hopefully we get answers soon.

Do you have access to LMF feeds? As a whole, they are high quality too, but like all of them, have some low(er) end feeds.

I got a very quick and detailed response from the rep and we have nothing to worry about. they are not leaving us! they are actually looking to expand their availability.

Well, I finally was able to get some info.
Apparently they are changing distributors, the new one being Cargill.
The store where I have been getting it from will still carry it, it might be even be cheaper, the Cargill plant being really close.
Hopefully this will all work out, I would hate to have to change feeds !

I'm in the Georgetown/Floyds Knobs, IN area. I go to the Southern States in Shelbyville, which is actually about the exact same distance as La Grange...I just prefer driving out 64 vs 71. Luckily I'm only buying for one horse, and stock up on two or three months of feed each time I go, so I don't have to drive it that often.

I just got TC Sr. for $24.95 a bag last week. It went up right after the coming grain shortage was announced late in the summer, and kept on going. It has been manufactured through the local Nutrena Mill for a while now.

$25.79 here ! Manufactured in Oregon. I am in western Washington.
