Default Help wanted from Canadian trainers/breeders

This is a little nutty, but hopefully someone can just point me in a direction.

I had to euthanize my OTTB heart horse this fall, and I'm now shopping for my next. So I'm cruising rescues and CANTER to find someone to bring home, but got started on a crazy search last night...

There was a trainer/owner in Canada that owned my mare's daughter/granddaughter, and carried on the line and I had this crazy thought of tracking down one of these horses to buy. The woman was Audre Cappuccitti. She passed away in 2011 and I cannot find the name of her farm or who has it now, etc. I'd love to try and make contact and see if they know the whereabouts of any of these babies, or if they have one, if they're willing to part with them.

Again, I know this is a little crazy and I know there are thousands of other TB's that need new jobs, but I'd like to at least try.

So thanks in advance for helping the crazy horse woman

You could also try posting on the EMG boards.

If you post the name of the mare and the foals' names, there is quite a Canadian contingent here who might be able to help

Thanks so much for the info.

My mare was Oka No Marker. Her daughter is St. Noras.

I called my mare Bailey. She was a grey and had the most amazing personality coupled with athletic ability. I had her for 15 years and this fall I made the tough decision to let her go. I knew she wasn't going to winter well, and with a newly developed bug allergy that nearly killed her last spring, even spring time would no longer offer her relief. But I'd love to see if some of her personality carried on through her line.
