Default Music, Copyright and Royalty Free

I am looking for music to put on a You Tube Video that I am making. Does anyone use a good site for this? The background music needs to be Copyright and Royalty free. Thank you...🎵🎵

You need to search for specifically "royalty free" music downloads; any of the major search engines will bring up a variety of sites that you can browse for something you'd like.

As to the copyright, that gets into the "public domain" area. You can learn more about that here: http://www.pdinfo.com/Public-Domain-Music-List.php

You might also want to search the Youtube site for information on copyright specific to that site. I know they have some kind of special license for youtube posts, but I'm not familiar with the details.

    Good luck !

    http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/

All they ask for is audio credit like: [Titleof song] Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

I've used this site for my slide show music:

    http://www.neosounds.com/

They have a wide variety and the quality is pretty good.

Everything by Gilbert and Sullivan is in the public domain.

Not sure what kind of video you're making but I can imagine some pretty funny stuff I'd love to do.
