For chiropractors in the area I'd recommend Joy Baker. She's fantastic.

Also seconding Tryon Equine, by far the best vet clinic I have ever worked with.

When I lived in Anderson, I ended up driving to Tryon/Landrum. It was a long haul but until we had our own digs, it was WELL WORTH IT. There are shows at FENCE, Harmon Field...trail systems...good tack shop (Farm House but also liked the folks in G'ville at The Tack Shop)...good professionals.

As far as Greenville goes, it's really pretty lovely. I've found that there are some folks who are unhappy no matter where they are. We enjoyed downtown G'ville - good vibes. And as someone already pointed out, you can be to Hotlanta, Charlotte, Aiken in short order comparatively speaking.
