It is Macon, Ga - and I am having no ugly thoughts here - just want to help. I will offer fairly local transportation - I am about an hour away north of Macon. He looks to be in good-"ish" condition, and 20 is nothing for an arab...

My arab mare lived til she was 30. I barrel raced her until she was 27. They are hardy little things. Hope he lands softly.

Has someone in GA or a surrounding state got room for this horse?
I board my 2, so I cannot take him on, but I can help out if someone else does take him.

I'll talk to DH about him, but he and his mom are always learly of older grey horses because of melanomas

Overo, you have a PM from the tobiano owner.
Hey, I looked at the ad yesterday. Today it says "Rincon."
OK am I having a flashback from my wild and mis-spent youth, or did the ad change? Rincon is down here in methingham county outside of Savannah. If anyone is interested in him, I can go look at him for you.

OK owner has told me at which boarding barn the old guy is staying. If anyone wants him checked out, PM me. I'm presuming she'll let him go free or at least cheaper. People are giving away horses down here, and I cannot see anyone paying much for the old guy.

I emailed the owner and she responded. I told her about the giveaways forum here. She said she might be interested in giving away the old guy to a good home.
