Default Hanoverian Elite Auction Oct. - some gorgeous dressage prospects

Check out the eye candy among the upcoming dressage offerings for the Hanoverian Elite Auction in October, e.g. numbers 23, 29, 34, 38, 57, 59.
I haven't looked at many of the foals yet, but no. 132 is super.

I'm with you, Mary Lou. 34 is the one I'd take. I like those horses that come from Florestan much better. Of course, I have two by Freestyle, so recognize that.

Number 2 (Equitaris by Estobar-Rubiloh) placed 4th at the 3-year-old stallion finals at the Bundeschampionate last week. He is bred by family Borgmann, which is a very well known german breeder Family, out of a brilliant damline (damline of Estobar (Inbreeding!), Eichendorff, Moliere. Rumors in Germany say he will be one of the best selling offerings and a lot of breeders hope he will stay in Germany or at least in Europe.

Number 2 makes me very happy that Püppi is in foal to Escolar by Estobar for 2014.

Some really droolworthy horses there! Thanks for the link

I think for me there is a big difference between buying a horse for a pro to ride for me, and one for me to ride day in day out myself. If I was buying one for me personally I would actually go for 47. Not the flashiest but looks like she would be a kind, easy ride and make a nice broodmare later as I love the R line, in addition to De Niro and the trak blood of Caprimond. She looks easy kind, rideable and that she would collect. Some of the flashier others look quite hot in addition to being hard to sit and for an amateur, to keep balanced. I also believe often the flashy ones that do well in the young horse classes never make it to the higher levels. If I wanted a flashy one for a pro, I agree with some of OP's choices - probably be 29 as I am a sucker for a chestnut mare and she has nice bloodlines for breeding later

Some Years ago I was riding a mare out of the damline of Escolar. Not easy to ride, but she would have died for you while competing! May I ask you what pedigree "Püppi" has?

Püppi is Prince Thatch xx/ Argentan/ Abend/ Lukas. Right now she has a nice Don Schufro filly at her side. I am looking forward to what she produces next year.

Nice match with Escolar. Just looked up some photos of Püppi at your homepage. She is a lovely mare to breed with. Congratulations!
