The owners I show a horse for ended up buying a real Moorish saddle to use in Friesian Period Costume. That thing is just VICIOUS. The tree points tip INWARD. It's a nasty piece of work. Have horses changed shape so much since it was made??? LOL
Moorish horses were probably a LOT smaller, lighter and narrower than a modern-day Friesian.
